Blaise had walked up from the hotel to the lake. He sat down on a blanket, under a large tree. After staring at the ruins of Hogwarts, he took a book out of his pocket and began to read. His apprenticeship would be starting soon and it wouldn't hurt to brush up on his theory...
With her nose in a book, Hermione had walked from the hotel in the direction of the Hogwarts grounds. Surprisingly enough, she made it to the edge of the lake while avoiding most other people.
However, all good things must come to an end. Hermione soon found herself on the ground and right into somebody's lap, having tripped on the edge of a blanket. "Oh, bugger," she muttered, looking around for her fallen book.
Blaise automatically set down his book and wrapped his arms around the woman who had fallen over him. He smiled as he recognized her. "I never expected Hermione Granger would fall for me. Harry or Ron definitely. Maybe even Draco."
He laughed at the expression on her face. "It's wonderful to see you, bella. I've missed you."
"Oh! Blaise! It's you! Lovely to see you as well- it has been a while, hasn't it.." She found her book and sat up, hugging it to her chest. "And that's a horrible pick-up line. Did Pansy fall for a similar one?" It completely didn't register to her that she was still in her friend's lap.
"I didn't even have to use a pick-up line on Pansy. She was that easy. It seems that the last name doesn't matter: Malfoy, Zabini or Goyle. As long as you're a pure blooded, male and wealthy heir, she's happy." He sighed. "And that's why they call it first love and not true love. I was just lucky to come to my senses when I did."
Blaise smiled at her sadly and shook his head. "There's no need to be sorry, bella. You did nothing wrong." He fought not to leans into her gentle caress. "Thank you for saying that, though. It means quite a bit to hear that from you. I think you may be one of the few who really doesn't care about all of the trappings and actually cares for me."
"I know. Sometimes it seems like the truth is one of the most precious gifts I've ever received." Before he even knew he was going to do it, he gently kissed her forehead. "You'll never know just hoe much it means to me."
Hermione gave a small sigh and looked to her feet. Where was her Gryffindor courage? Smiling lightly, she reached up once more for that same lock of hair that fell into his eyes. The smile widened as she tucked it back and leaned in to kiss him softly on the lips.
A million random thoughts passed through his mind as he returned her kiss. Even the thought of Draco's wrath wasn't enough to make him pull away. Instead, his hands slid into her long, wavy hair as he deepened their kiss. She tasted of sunshine and strawberries. Blaise couldn't stop a slight smile from curving his lips.
"If you've wanted this half as much as I have, then yes, I'm sure. I swear I won't regret this. Now will you shut up and kiss me?" Hermione finished unbuttoning his shirt and ran her hands up his sides.
His eyes widened for a moment, even as he smiled wider. "You have no idea how many times I wished that all of that focus and bossiness owuld be directed at me, cara. As you wish. I'll give you whatever you want, I promise."
Blaise's mouth came down on hers, his tongue teasing the seam of her lips, asking for entry. His hand wandered the span of her back. As they pulled apart for air, he rgowled, "Naughty vixen! No bra today?"
He laughed, loving how easily she blushed. Merlin, she looked beautiful...
His hands cupped her breasts under the shirt, teasing her nipples into hard points. Her skin slid under his fingers like silk. "Not as long as I've wanted you, cara. Knew I had it bad after we were going home in first year... I thought it was hopeless and went after Pansy. Never thought you'd want me."
